Thanks to the high quality of the productions presented, the Café has created an environment of artistic and cultural credibility. This credibility is evidenced by the large influx of clients we have attracted, as well as the reception we’ve gotten from the press and the country’s art class.
This past year, audiences have enjoyed privileged Concert Pedro Guerra, Roy Brown, Alfredo Naranjo, Prophetic Culture and the first meeting on stage of the great bassists of Salsa … Bobbie Valentine, Ray Santiago and Polito Huerta, accompanied by teachers Luis Marin, Jerry Medina and Tito Allen, among others.
The Nuyorican Café was founded with the goal of providing an open space to foster the arts. At Café try to support the concept of art as self-management. We work with entrepreneurs in addition to artists who create quality art, engaged with great enthusiasm to promote their projects and create the necessary infrastructure for viabilizarlos economically.
