New Venue to open in Camden, London

The Columbo Group behind XOYO and The Jazz Café reopening the formerly venue The Barfly that has been a Camden institution for years with a new name The Camden Assembly in north London.

“We want this venue not to be a monument to the glory days of indie, or the glory days of Camden, or the glory days of The Barfly. Instead we hope it will be a forward-thinking reflection of the eclectic tastes young people have today, something Camden and
London can be proud of.” says Andy Peyton, head of music at The Camden Assembly

This is their second venue they have acquired in the area after the reopening of The Jazz Cafe.
The Camden Assembly will remain as mainly alive music venue and this fall we can expect performances by Andrew Ashong, D Double E, Venus X and MikeQ.
