Label Focus: Incroyable Music
This week we feature Incroyable Music which is a label fully committed to a creative and unapologetic musical approach that goes way beyond the traditional boundaries of genres. They recently released the massive hit Issoria by Dopish.
What do you look for in an artist that make it to Incroyable Music?
The artist should bring some innovation to his sound and not just be one of these copy cats out there. We are not stucked into one sound. Producers can send us demos with their style of sound. We always see artists who are creating certain sounds to release on labels cause the previous releases sound like this and that is absolutely stupid.
What’s your thoughts labels role in the music industry as more and more music is being streamed?
We think that we are out of times where labels release Music in the hope to sell millions of copys like it was in the 90’s for a long time. Nowadays a label is more of a brand: you create something that the costumer can identify himself with a little bit, Its more about other things like label nights and showcases and everything. The Music is becoming more of a significant tool to promote you’re Brand, so the more people stream you’re music the better for you. it isn’t so necessary to sell music nowadays to be successful.
How does these coming months look like for Incroyable Music?
We have the ‚Four Miles to Amsterdam’ #2 Compilation coming on October including Tracks by Fennec & Wolf, FreakMe, Bellville and Fabio Montana. After that we will focus on finishing our first fashion merchandise line to get it into our webshop in the meantime we have a lot of events to coordinate. And in November the next EP by Fennec & Wolf will be finally released.
