Tour Essentials with Glenn Morrison

Glenn Morrison is 31 year-old Toronto native known for crossing between the underground scene and mainstream electronic music. He’s as happy rocking an underground house party as he is performing at an exclusive oceanic rooftop venue. He’s had several hits such as ‘Contact’ and ‘GoodBye’ that both hit the billboard chart in America and Canada.

Glenn has enjoyed the support of DJs as varied as John Digweed and Richie Hawtin to David Guetta and Tiesto. For three years he’s been resident at Ibiza’s Amnesia Club and Space in Ibiza for 1 year, as well as Space in Miami for 2 years. In Las Vegas, Glenn has held monthly residencies at both the Palms Casino at Rain / Moon, as well as Marquee at the Cosmopolitan. He has performed at legendary venues and festivals around the world with having over 400 shows under his belt over the past few years alone.

I want to able to straddle the line between doing underground parties and underground records, and a more commercial style,” he explains. “ Artists & musicians don’t think in genres and label coding, and my music is a reflection of that.

Travelling across the seven oceans regularly some things become ‘tour essentials’ for Glenn:

Glenn Morrison Tour Essentials | RhythmTravels.com

Mont Blanc Weekender Bag – My wife bought me this bag. It’s very rare, very cool, and I bring all of my carry-on electronics in this when flying. It’s the first Christmas gift I got from Noran and it hasn’t left my side since.

iPhone – For all of the obvious reasons but on top of that I love having all of my Spotify playlists and offline downloading…. tons of amazing electronic music albums over the past few decades and I like to listen to everything – having it all on my same phone device is perfect when jetting around

Oliver People’s Tortoise Shell Sunglasses – I love the brown tint on these lenses. I can see through the water very well when swimming & the lens tint reminds me of 1970’s Parisian movies. life is better with these glasses.
