As we gather as community serving those in need, we honor the seed that was planted by our friend Randy Ponzio, who has inspired this work through his philosophy, “People first, music second”. This is about people helping people and music is the vehicle with which to accomplish this.

DAVID MORIN
Bombay Records
http://www.davidmorinmusic.com

David Morin’s music is pure, authentic and from the heart. Self-taught and passionately committed to being a career artist, he’s blessed with the ability to turn strangers into fans. That’s why he earned his stripes the hard way, busking on Vancouver streets and singing to make a living. This guitar (and loop-pedal) virtuoso makes a solo performance sound like an entire band. With his debut album, Every Colour, set for a fall release on Bombay Records, David Morin plays gigs around the world accompanied by a live band. Yet the humble neo-soul singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist still chooses to busk regularly on street corners in his hometown of Vancouver.

BUCKMAN COE
Tonic Records
http://www.buckmancoe.com

Coe’s almost ethereal, soul-drenched voice soaring over arrangements that draw from folk, pop, soul, psychedelia and hip hop, and singing songs that celebrate the awakening of social consciousness and the togetherness of those who are fighting for a better world. Drawing strongly from Reggae’s mixture of joyful, danceable rhythms and socially conscious vibes, the latest album from Vancouver’s Buckman Coe is a gorgeous and downright infectious manifestation of the artist’s spiritual nature and passion for social justice.

ERICA DEE
http://www.facebook.com/mcericadee

The daughter of Bostonian jazz musicians and pioneer of the new cutting edge Future Soul sound, Erica Dee has been saturated in music her entire life. Growing up on the west coast of Canada, she captured her soundscape amongst an eclectic underground hip-hop and rave culture. Erica began singing with DJs and bands at the age of 18. In her early 20’s her desire to understand the full spectrum of her craft propelled her to study music in college alongside new pop sensation Kiesza.

Erica began DJing her live set in 2007, which lead to an invite to write and record in Los Angeles with DJ Nu-Mark of Jurassic 5. That same year she embarked on her first nationwide tour with DJ Shadow and released her classic mixtape ‘Golden’, which combines 90’s R&B flavors with nu house and beat music. She has since captivated audiences from Brazil to Israel, and performed with a wide array of artists such as Justin Martin, G Jones, Rising Appalachia, Mix Master Mike, Lil’ Kim, Pretty Lights, Thievery Corporation & Quest Love.

2014 was a big year for Erica, Berlin inspired 6 new releases with many producers on labels like Danze, Suara & King Street which then lead to her first solo album which will be released with Long Lost Relative February 14th 2016. Erica Dee’s live show is a refreshing experience; she’s an international soulstress that’ll lead you to discover the depths of your own heart, swooning you with melody, rhythm, standout acapella segments & tastefully selected productions. Catch Erica Dee in a city near you!
